The Croatian Studies Foundation, founded in 1984, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
The Foundation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport, Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Heritage Foundation, Zagreb, Croatia, invite Croatians across Australia to join in the celebration of some major milestones in the history of our community. These are:
- 25th anniversary of the Croatian Studies Foundation
- 26th anniversary of Croatian Studies at Macquarie University.
- 30th anniversary of the recognition of the Croatian language in Australia.
To celebrate these milestone, several key events are planned during the month of February, which is being promoted as the - MONTH OF CROATIAN LANGUAGE.
1: CROATIAN DAYS IN AUSTRALIA
Entertaining language workshops for children, youth, parents and teachers run by the Croatian Heritage Foundation.
2: INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
Macquarie University- Monday 23rd - Friday 27th February.
Expert speakers and academics will present on the overall theme of: Croatia and Croatian language in the Year 2020 - On the 30th anniversay of the recognition of the identity of Croatian language in Australia.

3: GALA ANNIVERSARY DINNER
The Gala 25th Anniversary Dinner celebration will be hosted in the presence of His Excellency Mr Vicencije Biuk ~ Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia. Other distinguished guests including the Croatian Minister of Science, Education and Sport, Dr Dragan Primorac, Croatian government officials, academics from the Republic of Croatia, Australia and New Zealand along with members of the Australian Croatian community.
Venue: Croatian Club "Dalmacija Sydney", Terrey Hills, Saturday 28th at 7.00 pm.
