An appropriate repetition of phonetics and morphology. Repetition of orthography with special attention to orthographic difficulties. Syntax of sentence, sentence structure. Reading , comprehension. Oral exercises. Introduction to translating.

CRO355 Advanced Croatian II
Syntax of cases. Introduction to word formation. Word-order, syntax of verbal tenses and moods. The Croatian Language in diachrony and synchrony. A survey of the history of the Croatian standard language. Introduction to interpreting.

CRO360 Advanced Croatian III

CRO365 Advanced Croatian IV
CRO330 Croatian Drama, Theatre and Media
The unit examines contemporary Croatian theatre and film. It also provides an overview of Croatian drama, and insight into the Croatian media.

CRO378 Croatian Research Option
Students are required to individually research a subject under the guidance of a staff member of Croatian Studies.

CRO 380 Advanced Residential Unit in Croatia
Four weeks of advanced Croatian language and culture study in Croatia at University of Split (and in some cases University of Zagreb).
