The Croatian language studies program at Macquarie University commenced in February 1983, following this the Croatian Studies Foundation of Australia and New Zealand was established in August of 1984.
The Foundation is comprised of a large number of Croatian organisations, clubs and institutions as well as individual members Australia wide.
