The CSF's Governing Council is the organization's governing body, elected by the members at an annual general meeting. All board members are volunteers and serve without compensation.

The Governing Council of the Croatian Studies Foundation consists of up to 16 appointed members.

• 1 - Vice Chancellor of Macquarie University, or his representative. In the capacity of honorary president.
• 4 - elected members- executive, (The President of the CSF; Vice President of the CSF; The Secretary of the CSF; The Treasurer of the CSF;)
• 11 - Committee men.
